Communication:

  • We encourage you, as the parent/guardain, to have daily talks with your student about their work and progress.  You don't have to understand all of the subject in order to have conversation.  Ask your student some questions like:
    • What did you learn in math today?
    • What are you working on this evening for homework?
    • Why do you think you're having to learn this?
    • What questions do you have for your math teacher about the learning?
  • We encourage the student to be an active participant in their learning.  One of the easiest ways to do this is to ask your teacher questions!  If you don't understand something, talk with your teacher and clarify your understanding.
  • We encourage you, as the parent/guardian, to talk with your student's math teacher.  You are welcomed to email, call and/or make an appointment with your student's math teacher
