Mrs. Dann's webpage

Mary Dann earned her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Montana in 1977 and her Master of Music Education, K-8 emphasis, from the University of Oregon in 1983. She has been a Music Teacher in the Richland School District since 1980 and an Adjunct Education Professor for Washington State University Tri-Cities since 1992. In 2005, Educational Service District 123 recognized Mary as Southeastern Washington’s Regional Teacher of the Year, one of nine finalists for Washington State Teacher of the Year. She also became a National Board Certified Teacher (2004-2005) after completing rigorous coursework, which focused on improving student learning. Her greatest joy is helping people achieve their performance potential in a positive, energetic environment, where risk taking is both encouraged and valued, and mutual support and respect are expected.
