Mrs. Almberg comes to Chief Joseph with 17 years of teaching experience. Over the years she has directed and taught a community preschool, supervised homeschoolers, taught 3-9th graders in math, science and history, and been a Resource Room teacher.
Mrs. Almberg received her Bachelors of Education from Northwest University in Bellevue, Washington and Masters of Education in Special Education from Heritage College. She is currently pursuing her National Board Certification in math.
Mrs. Almberg has been married for 26 years and has four children ages 22, 20, 15 and 13. Her oldest son is currently serving his country with the North Dakota National Guard in Kosovo.
